We stand behind Siemens product’s our commitment to this is we will provide warranty services for any S7 series component, regardless of original source. We would require product bar-code and a copy of the original invoice to first establish warranty eligibility.

SIEMENS
Siemens shall make good by repair or at Siemens option by replacement within reasonable time after notification by the Purchaser defects caused by Siemens failure to comply with the contract, or which appear in the goods arising from faulty design, material or workmanship provided always that:

1. such goods have been properly handled and used and have been operated and maintained in accordance with instructions issued by Siemens; and
2. such defects (whether apparent or not) occur within a period of:
   1. twelve (12) months after the goods have been delivered; or
   2. fifteen (15) months from the date of notification of readiness for dispatch whichever period first expires; and
3. Siemens is notified in writing within seven (7) days of the alleged defect occurring and the Purchaser has stated the date and place of purchase.

Where in accordance with the foregoing, the Purchaser has notified Siemens of an alleged defect, it shall if Siemens so requires promptly, and at it’s own expense and risk, return the defective part(s) to Siemens.

The removal of the defective part and the installation of any repaired or placement parts shall be performed by the performed by the Purchaser at it’s own expense. Where any defective part(s) have been replaced such part(s) shall become the property of Siemens.

Siemens shall not be liable for goods of a consumable nature, or those having a low rated service life such as electric lamps, electronic valves and glass components or where any unauthorized repair or alteration to the goods has been performed by the Purchaser or others.

This express warranty is in lieu of any other rights that would otherwise be conferred on the Purchaser under any law save that this express warranty does not exclude any conditions or warranties implied into this contract by the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act 1908 or by any other law of New Zealand to the extent that such condition or warranties may not be excluded by express agreement.
